Details reading 4-Years Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a statutory body under Ministry of Human Resources Development -MHRD has been established under an Act of Parliament (73 of 1993) with a view to achieve planned and coordinated development of Teacher Education system and maintenance (রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ) of norms and standards and matters connected therewith throughout the country, (except Jammu and Kashmir).

2. If propose to lunch a 4 Years (চার বছরের) Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), for which entry qualification is 12th standard with 50% marks. The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) imbibes some of the best practices of Teacher Education in the world and aims to bring about a qualitative change in preparation of teacher for the school system.

3. National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) invites online application from COMPOSITE institutions from 03.12.2018 to 31.12.2018 for grant of recognition / permission to 4 years Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2019-2023. The details are available on National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) website: www.ncte.india.org.

4. It may be noted that only those institutions (প্রতিষ্ঠান) which are composite (সংমিশ্রিত) institutions as defined in Clause 2(b) of Regulation 2014, (reproduced below) on the date of making the application shall be eligible for this programme.

(b) ''composite institution means a duly recognized higher education institution offering undergraduate or postgraduate programmes of study in the field of liberal arts or humanities or social sciences or sciences or commerce or mathematics, as the case may be, at the time of applying for recognition of teacher education programmes, or an institution offering multiple teacher education programmes''

5. The applicant institutions which do not qualify as per clause 2(b) of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Regulation, 2014 (Supra), shall be treated as ineligible and their applications are liable to be rejected (খারিজ) and processing fees paid by them may be forfeited.

অবশেষে চালু হতে চলেছে Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)

যুগান্তকারী সিদ্ধান্ত নিল ন্যাশনাল কাউন্সিল ফর টিচার এডুকেশান সংক্ষেপে NCTE। আগামী 2019 শিক্ষা বর্ষ থেকেই দেশজুড়ে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় পাশের পর 4-বছরের স্নাতক সহ বিএড কোর্স (3+1) শুরু করতে চলেছে তারা।

এই সম্পর্কে NCTE'র তরফে সম্প্রতি একটি নির্দেশিকা জারি হয়েছে। যেখানে পরিষ্কার জানানো হয়েছে, উচ্চমাধ্যমিকে যারা 50 শতাংশ নম্বর পাবে এমন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এবার সরাসরি স্নাতক কোর্সের সঙ্গেই বিএড সম্পূর্ণ করতে পারবে। এরফলে তাঁদের অতিরিক্ত অনেকটা সময় নষ্ট বেঁচে যাবে।

এনসিটিই জানাচ্ছে, জম্মু-কাশ্মীর বাদ দিয়ে দেশের সমস্ত রাজ্যেই 2019-23 শিক্ষা বর্ষেই এই কোর্স চালু করা হবে। 4-বছরের Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) এই মুহূর্তে শিক্ষক শিক্ষণে বিশ্বের মধ্যে অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় পন্থা হিসেবে গণ্য হবে বলে সংস্থার দাবী।

আর 2019-23 শিক্ষাবর্ষে যে সমস্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এই কোর্স চালু করতে আগ্রহী তাঁদের আগামী 3 ডিসেম্বর থেকে 31 ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে NCTE'র কাছে আবেদন পত্র পাঠাতে বলা হয়েছে। এই সম্পর্কিত সমস্ত তথ্য জানতে NCTE-র ওয়েবসাইটে ক্লিক করুন (www.ncte-india.org)।

তবে যে কোনও শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানই এই কোর্স চালু করতে চাইলে তা পারবে না। NCTE-এর 2014 রেগুলেশানের clause 2(b) অনুযায়ী যে সমস্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান "Composite Institutions" হিসেবে বিবেচিত তাঁরাই কেবলমাত্র এই কোর্সে পড়ানোর অনুমোদন চেয়ে আবেদন করতে পারবে।

"কম্পোসিট ইনস্টিটিউশন" এর মানে হল যে সকল শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান হায়ার এডুকেশন (উচ্চ-শিক্ষা) প্রদানের জন্য অনুমোদিত এবং যেখানে Under Graduate (স্নাতক) বা স্নাতকোত্তর (Post Graduate) কোর্স পড়ানো হয় (Liberal Arts or Humanities or Social Science or Commerce or Mathematics) সেই সমস্ত সংস্থা এই কোর্সের অনুমোদনের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।

তবে যে সমস্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান NCTE-এর clause 2(b)-এর আওতায় আসছে না তাঁরা আবেদন করলে তা বাতিল বলে গণ্য করা হবে এবং তাঁদের আবেদন পত্রের সঙ্গে দেওয়া টাকাও বাজেয়াপ্ত হবে।

এর বাইরে কোনও সংস্থার যদি Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) প্রোগ্রাম সম্পর্কে বিশদে জানার থাকে তবে তাঁরা অবশ্যই সরাসরি NCTE-এর দফতরে মোবাইল ফোনের মাধ্যমে অনুসন্ধান করতে পারেন নিম্ন বর্ণিত দুটি ফোন নম্বরে। সপ্তাহের সোম থেকে শুক্রবার সকাল 9.30 টা থেকে 5.30 টা পর্যন্ত এই নম্বরে ফোন করে বিশদ জানতে পাড়বেন বলে সংস্থা সূত্রে জানানো হয়েছে।
