In enclosing the request for issuing circular for Childline 1098 visibility in each Primary school, they are requested to circulate to all schools under their jurisdiction for ensuring the Childline 1098 message (attached herewith) in a prominent place of the school so that every child can access the number as and when required.

As you know, Childline 1098 (24X7 telephone and outreach service for the children in distress) is working since 2004 in Murshidabad. There are five organizations working as Childline partners in this district viz.

We shall be highly obliged if you place issue a circular to all school for ensuring the visibility of Childline 1098 message (attached herewith) in prominent place of the school so that every child can access the number as and when required.

In compliance to Solemn order of Hon'ble Supreme Court (সুপ্রিম কোর্ট) of India in the matter as referred above, she/ he is requested to take necessary steps to display the number "Children's Helpline No. 1098" should be written in one place on each (স্কুল প্রাঙ্গনে) school premises.

In should also be displayed prominently in the office premises of the Sub Inspector / Assistant Inspector /Additional District Inspector / District Inspector of Schools.
