With reference to above, I am directed to convey that permission is granted for ''Go Live" or commencement of Operational phase i.r.o ICT@ School Scheme at 1719 schools with effect from 1st November 2022. A compliance report with status of the project after GoLive may kindly be furnished before this Department.

This is to bring to the notice of the authorities that, the School Education Department has decided to implement ICT @ School project in 1719 school s of this State in terms of this Department Memo No. 265-SE (P&B) dated 13/06/2019 read with No. 200-SED-18099/1/2020-PB SEC- DEPT of S.E dated 15/09/2020 & No. 211- SED -18099/11/2020-PB SEC- DEPT of S.E dated 23/09/2020. Tentative List of 1719 Schools is annexed herewith for ratification. Discrepancies if any, in respect of School Name, U-DISE Code, Status, Location etc. should be brought to the notice of this Department immediately. Also, the List is subject to last minute change due to actual survey/some special circumstances for which survey in additional school beyond this list is also be exercised by the WBEIDC. In case of such changes, the matter has to be brought to the notice of the Department at earliest.
As the project is being implemented through the WBEIDC, WIL Division , it would be required by the selected agency/ agencies to have access to those schools by way of Pre -Installation Survey, Head of Institution’s Orientation, Site Preparation, Deployment of IT & Non- It Assets, Conducting the CEP/ CAL Class, Conducting Training of Teaching & Non-teaching staffs, continuing the Management & Monitoring Services for proper and smooth implementation of the project.
Therefore, the undersigned is directed to request all concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E) of the districts to co- operate with the personnel of the WBEIDC, WIL Division & the personnel of agency/ agencies selected by the WBEIDC, WIL Division and instruct the Head of Institutions of the concerned schools to extend similar Co-operation.

Sir,
In continuation to this department Memo No. 69-SE(P & B) dated 08.03.2017, this is to re-iterate that Computer Lab set up is being provided to the 3586 Secondary and Higher Secondary schools along with recurring cost for 5 (five) years. The ICT Project (Information & Communication Technology) would be implemented by M/s II & FS Education and Technology Limited Service ( for Bankura, Birbhum, Puruliya, Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas) & M/s Extramarks Education India Pvt. Ltd (for Burdwan, Nadia, Murshidabad, Malda, Dakshin Dinajpur, Uttar Dinajpur, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Coochbhar). It would be required by the organizations to have access to those schools for proper implementation. Therefore, I would request you to inform the District Inspectors of Schools (Secondary Education) of all the Districts to instruct the Head of the Institutions of the concerned schools to co-operate with the personnel of the above organizations for smooth implementation of the ICT Project.

Objects of ICT Project
- Impart Computer Education as per the School's IT syllabus and integrate the same with the school Timetable.
- Build capacity with teachers on IT Skills and usage of E-learning software that will enable them to integrate it in the classroom Teaching.
- Ensure 100% uptime of the installed hardware and software in the ICT lab.
- Preparation and updating of all records and reports related to the lab on daily basis.
- Timely coordination and follow up with the Project Helpdesk for any hardware or software related problem to ensure the resolution within the stipulated time.
Nature of Leave for ICT Instructor
Vide Memo No. 192-IT/06/2020/P&AR-e-Gov Dated: 16.10.2020
- 30 days Casual Leave (C.L) in a calendar year.
- 10 days on Medical Ground
- 180 days Maternity Leave for female
