Data collection of Teachers for Transfer in home district

CIRCULAR

The Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of West Bengal, considering the huge contribution of the teacher towards our society and nation building, has taken a policy decision on the eve of Saraswati Puja, for posting school teachers in their respective home district according to vacancies, so that, while discharging their duty effectively, they can take care of their families as well. The concerned Rules/Acts in this regard will be suitably amended.

The Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal is hereby directed to collect the relevant details of school teachers e.g. name of teacher, name of school, residential address etc. along with the details of vacancies existing in the schools of a particular district and send the soft copy of same in a suitable format at this end in order to implement the above decision as per the direction of Hon'ble CM. In the mean time, applications submitted by the school teachers and pending for consideration, will be disposed of suitably in light of above direction.
