With reference to this, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as issued by Higher Authority and a list of SHGs tagged with particular Educational Institution are enclosed herewith for your reference.
You are requested to inform the concerned authorities of Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools, SSKs or MSKs under your jurisdiction.

As directed by the Finance Department, the Stitching Work should be distributed by adopting the following principles:
(1) All the willing SHGs in the respective areas will be given the opportunity to provide the stitching services at the accepted rate within the time frame fixed by the procuring authority.
(2) Work to be distributed in such a manner so that maximum number of SHGs are involved in the respective areas.
In this context I am further directed to request you to inform all concerned about the approved stitching rates and seek willingness of all the SHGs/Clusters/manufactures within the State by ensuring that the maximum amount of work (at least 75%) is provided to the SHGs.
All concerned District Magistrates may be kindly informed accordingly.

Regarding tagging of SHG Institutions for measurement of School Uniforms in the year 2022

This is to inform you that, as per direction of the SMD & CEO, WBSRLM in this year 2022, the Gram Panchayat wise SHG Institutions (Mahasangha/Sangha Samabay/SKUS) have been tagged for measurement of School Uniforms (as per specification given by School Education Department, West Bengal) to the students of all Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper-Primary, High Schools, Sishu Siksha Kendra (SSK), Madhyamik Siksha Kendra (MSK) and Madrashas of the district of Paschim Medinipur. The list of Gram Panchayat wise tagged SHG Institutions is enclosed herewith as Annexure-I for your reference.
In this regard you are requested to inform the concerned SHG Institutions to be remain present and take active part during measurement of such School Uniforms of the students by Sub-Inspector of Schools from each school under each Gram Panchayat for your Block. Photos of the measurement activity in the presence of SHG institutions shall be shared with DRDC and DEO, Samagra Shiksha Mission (SSM). The collection of measurements of School Uniforms is to be completed by 7th March 2022. The format for measurement has been shared with all Sub-Inspectors of Schools and has to be forwarded by the respective Sub-Inspector of School to District Education Officer, SSM, Paschim Medinipur.

Madam/Sir,
As you are aware that from this year onwards, the uniforms for the students of schools under administrative control of Government of West Bengal, will be manufactured and distributed as per the process mentioned in the SOP already shared with you by the Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayats and Rural Development Department vide No.11/ACS/P&RD/2022 dated 15.02.2022.
The School Education Department has developed a comprehensive online portal to assist stakeholders in monitoring the progress, on real time basis. I am sure by now you all have been not only been sensitized but also concerned official have been trained, about the use of portal to ensure effective monitoring. It is very important that a standard process flow is maintained while using the said portal. The chronological flow of process vis-a-vis the stakeholders, is given in the table below:
